Implementation of SPC into the manufacturing process
Simandl, Martin ; Nikodým, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartes, František (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the introduction of statistical process control in selected manufacturing company XYZ. It is divided into a theoretical and a practical part, while the theoretical part deals with theoretical knowledge of SPC methodology and quality management. The content of the practical part is the design and implementation of the measuring and evaluation station, which will be used for statistical control of the SPC process, into the emerging production of chip machining.
Usage of Statistical Methods to Assure Capability of Production Process
Kuthanová, Dominika ; Baranová, Zuzana (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The aim of bachelor´s the thesis is to evaluate the quality of production using tools of statistical process control and to propose possible measures leading to its improvement. The thesis uses the following statistical tools: control charts, normality tests and capability indexes. The bachelor´s thesis also clarifies the principle of Six Sigma methodology. The output of the thesis is the proposed application of following tools: target control carts and the Cpm index for statistical process control of the researched company.
The proposal of the system of regular monitoring of the suppliers’ process capability indices
Kubica, Ondřej ; Zbudil, Ondřej (referee) ; Škapa, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis named “The Proposal of the System of Regular Monitoring of the Suppliers’ Process Capability Indices” is divided into two sections. There is a theory about statistical process control with emphasized process capability analysis in the first section. The content of the second section is starting point, procedure and the outcome of the project I worked on in Robert Bosch Company, České Budějovice. The aim of the project is the improvement of input quality via the evaluation of suppliers based on their outcomes of SPC.
Statistical Process Control and Reduction of Scrap
Negrová, Stefania ; Blecha, Petr (referee) ; Bednář, Josef (advisor)
The aim of the diploma´s thesis is analysis of the scrap of the chosen process, using the tools of statistical process control and proposal of appropriate containment to reduce the scrap. The thesis describes all seven basic tools of quality and the greatest attention is aimed to Shewart's control charts. One chapter discusses three methods of problem solving in technical practice, while one of the described methods is used in the practical part of the thesis.
Implementing SPC in the Production Process
Dostál, Petr ; Macháček, Martin (referee) ; Bartes, František (advisor)
The thesis deals with implementing of statistical process control (SPC) on CNC cut center into the mechanic production. One part of the project is engaged in theoretical information gathering, process monitoring and data collection. Second part deals with stabilization, regulation and improvement of the process using right statistical instruments. As a result is implementing measuring station from where will be the process data transferred to a server and evaluated. On the basis of that is possible to implement a correction in the right time if the process isn´t stabilized. The main objectives of the thesiss are cost reduction, scrap reduction and modernization of the process.
Problems in Solder Paste Stencil Printing for Fine Pitch Components
Šimeček, Ondřej ; Polsterová, Helena (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
Despote the indisputable advantages of fine-pitch components, is need to calculate with a few trouble during production, especially increased requirements for accuracy of mounting and solder printing. In this work I’m concerned with problems of solder printing for these components and evaluation using SPC. For the evaluation I used 3D paste inspection based on laser scanning of the surface. The output of this work is to describe the principles of solder printing and elaborating of GR&R, SPC analysis and histograms of solder printing for some outputs. I focused in my master thesis on motive design change of problematic components and economic evaluation of the adjustments.
Statistical support of the company management process
Kubíček, Jan ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
Master’s thesis describes statistical process control as a support for company management. Statistical process control methods and tools are introduced. Requirements for automotive industry are stated specifically for IATF 16949 standard and VDA 6.3 process audit method. Thesis presents current state in company Sanmina-SCI Czech Republic s.r.o regarding statistical regulation. Applies statistical process controls into the new process considering automotive requirements. It is all happening together with a new business introduction of automotive customer.

Data Collection and Processing for Statistical Control of Production Line ABB
Picka, Jaromír ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
Master’s thesis is point to the innovation the data collecting of testing machine of selective circuit breakers. New solution of data collection don’t affect the operations of testing machine. The cost calculation of new solution is included. Master’s thesis also included program solution of SPC methods and application of it to the process of testing the selective circuit breakers.
Quality evaluation of the connection of low-voltage control circuit cables
Chabiniok, Pavel ; Prostredník, Daniel (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with evaluation of quality of the connection of low-voltage control circuit cables, with the emphasis on quality assurance of crimps. An analysis of possible quality control methods, including a map of the crimping process, was created. Further, the thesis includes proposals for improvement of the original system. Furthermore, a proposal of non-destructive inspection system was produced. The conclusion summarizes the knowledge gained in quality control of crimping, including practical recommendations.
